Where are the XE216-512 PLL mode pins?

Post by jallard »

The XE216-512-FB236 datasheet refers to mode pins that set the initial PLL freq.

The PLL creates a high-speed clock that is used for the switch, tile, and reference
clock. The PLL multiplication value is selected through the two MODE pins, and
can be changed by software to speed up the tile or use less power. The MODE pins
are set as shown in Figure 7:

Which pins are these? I don't see any information about the location of these pins.

Hi jallard,

mode[0] is BGA ball A15, mode[1] is ball B15, please refer to section 3 of the datasheet. Both have internal pull-ups so will default to being suitable for a 25MHz oscillator unless set externally.

Regards,

Matthew.

Thanks!

There they are, right in the pin diagram where they should be.

I'm not sure why I couldn't find them.
