XMOS Development Kits for iPhone accessory

Post by MichaelN »

Hello,

I'm going to develop accessory for iPhone. It will be device for processing audio in real time.
I thins kit "USB MULTI-FUNCTION AUDIO PLATFORM (Apple Host Mode)" is a good start point for developing.
I have some questions:
  1. Can I declare different features like External Accessory Protocol, Device Power, Media Library
    Access and other?
  2. Do I need equipment like TotalPhase Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer, Lightning Breakout Boards and ATS lightning box for developing?
  3. Can xMOS team get me support in hardware/firmware development for Apple specific part?
I have MFI license.

I would recommend the xCore 200 based MC board.

USB analyser etc would be highly recommended - you would need it for self cert.

Its unlikely much support can be given via this open forum due to licence restrictions.

Hello,

Thanks for feedback.

As for support for Apple specific part, I understand that it can not be done through public forum.
May be XMOS team can provide support through private mail?
