Hello all,
I am evaluating the xmos chip, the target is to sendout ethernet data at sich a high speed. The application may send out the data every 200-500us. Max datalength is smaller 1480 byte.So it may use the max ethernet speed around 80-90M.
Cound the chip be able to handle this?

Max. 5k frames/s and max. frame size 1480B gets me max.
datarate 59.2Mb/s -- not sure where you got 80-90 from, the
frame overhead isn't that big is it?

Either way, the chips can easily handle a 100Mb/s ethernet
at full rate.
