Re: New ARM + XMOS Laser Controller from FSL
Motion is precalculated on the host computer which generates a cubic spline for the entire trajectory. These coefficients are compressed and stored in SDRAM and then streamed to XMOS over SPI which evaluates {x(t),y(t),z(t)}=a*t^3+b*t^2+c*t+d for each cubic segment for ultra smooth motion. XMOS prod...

New ARM + XMOS Laser Controller from FSL
Full Spectrum Laser has released it's second XMOS laser controller: RetinaEngrave 3D Ethernet for laser cutting and 3D engraving. ARM processor running RTOS handles zlib decompression of motion commands in real time over TCP/IP into 32MB SDRAM and feeds data to XMOS over SPI for real time control. S...

Re: Quick Easy Job: Write High Speed Serial Interface for FT232H
SPI is master mode only on FT232H.
If you can implement slave mode at 12MHz then this is ok.

Quick Easy Job: Write High Speed Serial Interface for FT232H
We're looking for someone to write the high speed serial interface for the FTDI FT232H using either the high speed serial or FT1248 interface. High speed serial should operate at 12mbps. We were able to get around 3.3mbps sustained output using highspeed serial on the first try. We could optimize th...
