Re: The everything programmer
<t>Hi Ho,<br/> <br/> just the last days I have started to work on a (JTag) Debugger for AVR Chips. As I don't have jet to much experience with On Circuit Debugging as well as AVR as well as XMOS Programming, my plans are to make first some Communication between AVR and XMOS (Just for learning).<br/>...

Re: Starting/stopping processes dynamically?
Hi Christian, as far as I understand your question you are planning to run a "coordinator core (SMI core)" and "work horse cores (MII cores)" and want to know if there are other options ? I believe to have a coordinator core is not such a bad Idea, but I do not yet see the reason...

Re: Creating a C based Projekt on XMOS
Hi Mahagon Let jump over item a) and go directly to Item b) ;-) Please don't take it wrong or offensive, but if you have already trouble to create a makefile, I believe you will end up in a Truckload of issues rebuilding the Code Base for parallel processing and channels. In fact I believe XMOS has ...

Re: UART Problems
Hi John, you would not be able to imagine how many times I did the same ;-) No worries, this is why I said have a look on the signal. I only have a cheap osciloscope just good good enough to see that there are changes in the signal. It helped me already 1391 times (more or less) ;-) Good to know it ...

Re: UART Problems
Hi John, on a quick view I don't see any trouble with the code. Even though this does not say the code is ok (I am novice even more then you are) I would have a closer look with an osciloscope if there is any Signal coming. Just to be sure that the wiring ok. If that is ok you have 2 ways of checkin...

Re: Character's ASCII Equivalent
Hi John, Even though I can't test it right now (I am not at home) I would do: char_value = (int) your_character; The Compiler will do the rest for you. If I remember the old times back, there is a lookup table within the compiler doing this. If so, the function internally might look like this: int l...

Re: USB Audio problem with a new HID Endpoint
Hi Dirk,
what do you mean with "I don't understand the system"
Is it the parallel Processing the issue?
I you feel for it we can discuss via Mail.
Regards
Frank
