Please use the XK-AUDIO-216-MC-AB board.  This reference design is based on the latest xCORE-200 (XS2) microcontroller.  It has got 512 KB (256 + 256) memory, good enough to do FFT, filtering etc.

<t>Hi-Res 2 DAC/HPA platform uses xCORE-AUDIO Hi-Res 2 device which is a fixed function device.  You can only get a firmware binary from XMOS and not the source code. But the datasheet shows the configuration option available to add support for DAC etc.  You may request XMOS for the firmware binary....
