[XK-AVB-LC-SYS] decrease data throughput
Hey folks, I have a network consisting of two AVB Audio Endpoints connected with a MOTU AVB switch. I sniff the data traffic with wireshark. If I press start and then stop immediately, there were 20.000+ packets sniffed. How can I decrease this data throughput? Is there a parameter anywhere in the f...

Re: AVB Audio Endpoint Kit/XMOS AVB - Max Channels/Listeners
Hey,
see https://abc.statusbar.com/
Maximal 45 channels per stream @ 48kHz/24bit are possible in an AVB network.
More than 45 channels would exceed the 75% bandwith in an 100MBit network.

Re: [XK-AVB-LC-SYS] no connection over intelligent switches
Thanks Thomas! 1) Has someone already worked with the S-9150T AVB-Switch of S2Connect? http://www.s2konnect.com/de/produkte/produkt/S2Konnect/Switches/S-9150T.php 2) Does the MOTU AVB Switch have any configuration possibilities? Because at it's website I only read something about Plug&Play and t...

[XK-AVB-LC-SYS] file transmission possible?
Hey guys,
is it possible to transmit a file (no audio file) via two XK-AVB-LC-SYS boards?
I want to do both, transmit audio files (high prior traffic) and transmit "normal" files (best effort traffic) to show that there can be multiple traffic classes at the same time.

[XK-AVB-LC-SYS] no connection over intelligent switches
Hey guys, when I connect two XK-AVB-LC-SYS boards directly, my application works. When I connect them via a dumb unmanaged switch, the application works too. But when I connect them over a managed switch, there isn't any successful connection. But why? I have already searched any useful setting in t...

Hey guys,
I have two XK-AVB-LC-SYS boards. How can I set the first board always to Master and the second board always to Slave mode?

Re: XK-AVB-LC-SYS / restore default configuration.
Hey Paroti,
you restore the default config by flashing the app_avb_lc_demo again on your board/s.
Make sure that this app is flashed on every board.

Re: [XK-AVB-LC-SYS] How to send audiostreams + make them aud
I have found the issue!! The two avb audio endpoints are connected with each like this: first endpoint -> ethernet cable to media converter -> broadr-reach cable to automotive switch -> broadr-reach cable to media converter -> ethernet cable to second endpoint Now I have connected the endpoints and ...

Re: [XK-AVB-LC-SYS] How to send audiostreams + make them aud
You should be able to connect the line out from any audio player (e.g. PC, MP3 player, etc.) to provide an input signal to the AVB board I've done that and played an audio stream. But I didn't hear anything. First I connected a laptop and the board input via jack. I put headphones and later speaker...
