Since my first post , we have built an amazing rocket to launch in the ESRA competition . The rocket won first place reaching 9920 feet . The goal was to reach the closest to 10000 feet. Our avionic module was unmatched with its great electronics . The xmos goal for this launch was to relay data tak...

Re: Float and Double for XMOS ?
You can still use float inside of a .c file and call that from a the XC code. I've tried doing that, but the compiler still didn't allow me to use floating points. Do you have a dummy example code for me to use. Maybe I missed something. Floating point is not supported by the hardware. The compiler...

Why do I have to rebuild my project before flashing?
Strangely, I always need to Clean my build before flashing my program into my XK-1A. Otherwise, the program won't be flashed into my XK-1A even though it's written in the console that the flashing succeeded.

Is there a Serial.available() function for xmos uart?
I've looked around a little in xmos uart modules and I couldn't find an equivalent to Arduino's Serial.available() function. Does someone know an equivalent function?

Re: New rocket design : XMOS will fly high in the sky!
I'm bumping this thread for a small update about our test launch. Everything went successfully and we're feeling well prepared for June competition! Here's an astonishing picture of our baby. http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/552924_368757216516345_219113011480767_1076540_12716...

I removed the trap() function and it's working ok besides the fact that once in a while, uart received data is corrupted.

Re: Uart problem
I'm having a similar problem when using two rx ports at once. I guess without sc_multi_uart, it isn't possible. Here is my error message : xrun: Program received signal ET_ECALL, Application exception. [Switching to stdcore[0] hwthread 2] The code I'm using is the following one: ////////////////////...

Re: [Error] "A valid registration key is required"
Thanks. I came back to my profile and my tools key was mysteriously back to the normal format which is XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
I think that my opera browser/eclipse browser might have messed up the webpage display which corrupted the key.
