Re: xTIMEcomposer,Java Runtime JRE and macOS

i've got macOS high sierra and xtime composer 14.3.2 and java 1.8.0_151-b12. XTime seems to works but : impossible to use the flash command and all of the top menu - except the first one - is grey/unavailable. So it didn't for me. Can you tell me if you have or not the problem? So I use a virtual ma...

Re: Massive data to store in flash memory

read a sector and store the contents to a local array in RAM -> erase the sector on the target serial flash memory -> write the local array (perhaps modified or not) to the target flash device. Yes indeed, this is what i'm doing now but - because the sector is 65535 bytes in this case - if i have l...

Massive data to store in flash memory

Hello, I'm working with a XS1-L16A and a M25P16 flash memory. I have more than 1000 bytes to save and more in the future so i want to use the free space of the flash memory. I don't need to often change those data, several times but not often. M25P16 is a 16Mb / 2Mo flash memory and the XS1 software...

Re: Problem at first load with JTAG

hello, after some round trip with my provider, it's finally works, "champagne !" . It was after all a soldering problem of the XS1. He made an X-ray picture and found 30% of pin soldering problem. I pass the details and the lost time... it's works (i didn't have the time to try the etherne...

Re: Problem at first load with JTAG

a) without XTAG, the Mode[2] & Mode[3] pins should be "11" = boot from external SPI flash = you should see lots of activity on MOSI pin. Is this correct behavior ? MOSI = Master out (XMOS); Slave in (SPI Flash). The boot rom code inside the XMOS should attempt to load in data from the...

Re: Problem at first load with JTAG

First thank you (again) for your time and ideas, a) Remove the JTAG connection to the external XTAG interface and power up. Do you continue to see the same activity on MOSI ? with or without le JTAG connected, on power up, i have the capture "power-up on SPI MOSI". SPI-MOSI stay 0 after, s...

Re: Problem at first load with JTAG

Hello everybody, back to the board with the new 50Mhz oscillator instead of the 25Mhz in order to match the MODE0-1 pins configuration. But unfortunately, still not working. The 1V rise 30ms after the 3V3, the oscillator works at 50Mhz, there is some activity on the MOSI SPI pin, but still unable to...
