I had to upgrade from Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.10 last night to get wireshark 1.8.4. I didn't feel like building it from source, though maybe that would have been a better plan in retrospect :) This'll take me a few days to make my dev computer useful again.. I would greatly appreciate it if you could. This is forcing me to get my act together for sniffing which is all good in the long-term. I have wireshark 1.2.7, but doesn't apparently have any filters for the AVB structures.

According to the helpful tech support person at BSS, the netgear firmware is using version 5 of the streaming reservation protocol. xcore might be at v6. back-down xcore to v5?

I have timing problems with a dumb switch. Right channel will randomly become late then recover after about 4 seconds.
