Re: Programming differences between LAN8710a and LAN8700

Thanks for the reply guys. I think I need a little of both suggestions. Firstly the PHY_ADDRESS did need to be set to 0. So now I am getting the if_up and down_events. But I still am not getting any data events and I can not ping the box so I will have to do some investigation as to what is going on...

Programming differences between LAN8710a and LAN8700

Hi, I am in the middle of porting a project I developed using an XC2 board to a custom board that uses a LAN8710a. I seem to be having a few problems and was wondering if there is any programming diferences between the two chips. I used the ethernet schematic for the AVB as my basis for my design. T...

Re: Anyone tried to use binary viewer lately? Seems to be broken

Hey Kris,

I have been able to verify the problem across several machines 32 and 64 bit.
I have been able to use the resource viewer on 10.4 with success on the same project binary.

Have you tried the resource viewer on one of the reference designs??

SPI Flash Selection - with a fine erase sector size

Hey guy, I have been pondering which SPI flash part to include in a new design. I will be using the free space in the flash to store user data. I have been informed that the flash that was used on the XC2 board the AT25DF041A should not be used in any new designs and have been recommended the Winbon...

Re: Elance Job

I am building a custom board but pretty much all code can be debugged on an XC2. The proof of concept was built using a XC2.
