Rust

It seems like Rust would be a good match for XMOS. Since LLVM (the main backend compiler for Rust) already targets XMOS, it seems like it would be doable. Anybody looked into this?

Re: Small barebone XU2xx Development Board - POLL

I was hoping for (at least) the XU216 with TQ128. For my purposes, USB B would be best, but micro would be okay. If there is a way to avoid the giant XTAG header (as the startKit does) then I'd like that. As I've mentioned in another thread, I simply want a Blue Pill for XMOS.

Re: Small barebone XU2xx Development Board - POLL

I'm just interested in a replacement for the startKit for personal projects, so probably not your target audience. I just need lots of I/O and the ability to use this on a protoboard. I have a specific application that the startKit currently satisfies, but the chance for destruction is rather high, ...

Re: Small barebone XU2xx Development Board - POLL

I'm interested, but that cost is steep for my (low volume) application.

Accessing port in interface extension function

I am trying to extend the spi_master_if interface. My particular interface needs an additional data/command hardware port (dc_port), so I've added a sendCommand interface. Unfortunately, I can't seem to make the dc_port available to the interface extension. I'm sure that I had this working in the pa...

Re: Blue Pill for XMOS?

Yeah, I guess I meant something current and XMOS supported. The StartKit was cool, but the form-factor was so awkward that I'm sure that it impacted the use by hobbyists.

Blue Pill for XMOS?

It really seems odd that we can't get a development board for XMOS similar to the Blue Pill for the STM32: https://wiki.stm32duino.com/index.php?title=Blue_Pill.
I could see this as being rather popular.

Re: Barebones xCore dev board

RISC-V has an Arduino-like board out, already ($59) . I'd sure like to see an XCORE-200 packaged like that.
