Re: Utilizing multiple threads
Additionally, just a quick point. Paul's code shows an example of using the multi-core nature of e.g. the G4 chips. I believe the original question related to using the multi-threading capabilities of each core. On an L1 chip, you will only have one core but still up to eight hardware threads... As ...

I am happy to make an introduction... they might well be interested in the 40 pin DIP module (though I think SliceKits are unlikely to be of interest). In terms of price - this has become a purely strategic question. Many manufacturers are now...

Re: Goodbye from Jason!
Jason - XMOS has achieved a huge amount in "digital" whilst you have been working there and it is a testament to your hard work that you've left the role in such good shape. On a personal note, I also thoroughly enjoyed working with you. Good luck in the new job! Paul, welcome to the party...

Re: Threads, Stackspace and recursion

Re: Open Hardware - Reaching Out
Thanks for the reply, it helps. Would it be fair to summarize that as "if you build it, then we won't"? With respect in particular to e.g. slices - were someone else to come up with, build, sell and support an open-source modular series of development kits, presumably then XMOS wouldn't fe...
