parameters needed for avoiding energy distortion
I am interested in parameters, that are influencing received sound energy; filtering is probably just one of them. XMOS is doing some processing to increase voice clearity, but for my application, the excessive processing of sound (like filtering of voice spectrum) is detrimental. I actually don't c...

Re: i2c communication with rpi3
I am using latest firmware - installed from VocalFusion-Stereo-AVS-binary_2.2.0rc7.xe. Raspberry info: pi@raspberrypi:~ $ cat /etc/os-release PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)" NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux" VERSION_ID="9" VERSION="9 (stretch)" ID=raspbia...

Re: i2c communication with rpi3
I tried to read parameters with windows using vfctrl_usb.exe and XMOS XTAG interface, but that doesn't work either. I receive error "could not find device". Is there any additional setting I must take care of? There's not enough information in the guide.

Re: i2c communication with rpi3
@infiniteimprobability as mentioned in point 3, i2cdetect sees my device at 0x2c address. So the connection is OK. I have been installing the kernel driver that is included in your RPi setup script, but it appears to be outdated, since certain variables are not recognized. I've described errors in m...

Re: i2c communication with rpi3
Thank you for your answers. Before I try to sort out clock stretching on rpi, I will try to set parameters with windows. @mon2 1) The XMOS device has already shipped with wiring attached. I am fairly confident all necessarry pull-ups / pull-downs are in place. 2) Length of wires is couple of cm 3) i...

Re: change beamforming source
I have received an update from XMOS support ticket. The instructions on how to change different parameters of a device is available at Control User Guide of Linear Array (https://www.xmos.com/support/boards?product=36893&component=36878). Since the guide is aimed towards XVF3100 and I am using X...

change beamforming source
Hello, someone on this forum has already posted similar question (http://www.xcore.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6633&p=32878&hilit=beamforming#p32878), but apparently he's ahead of me, because I don't even know which parameters he's talking about (parameters from xTimeComposer)? To my knowled...
