StartKIT (XS1-U16A-128-FB217) with second ULPI
Can I connect, I mean will it work, if I connect a USB ULPI PHY to the second tile, the only tile visible for users on StartKIT? I've read the XUD library uses some HW "acceleration" for USB, also I would need to use L-version of the core (U and 200 use the built-in PHY), and the XUD libra...

Re: XK-1A as USB AUDIO 2.0 device
Disable DFU? Oh yes, if you re-use the SPI pins you obviously can't reprogram the thing. I'll keep that in mind if I can, just ordered the USB3300 boards from ebay. In the meantime playing with the Startkit and the audio slice. BTW. If anyone is missing a nice DIY audio board with an XMOS chip (XE21...

Re: XK-1A as USB AUDIO 2.0 device
I'm not designing any new product, just trying to find some use for these kits I happen to already own. Now, I guess the SPI flash pinout doesn't matter as the ULPI stack is enabled only after the firmware has been already loaded, got to experiment. Also it might be possible to use just the Startkit...

XK-1A as USB AUDIO 2.0 device
I have some older XMOS stuff laying around unused so I though to use them for something. Now I've got a Startkit and the XA-SK-AUDIO slice but they cannot be made to USB sound card as the starkit tile 0 cannot be programmed expect than from PC (dynamic loading). So I was wondering if the XK-1A could...

SC_ADAT @256fs
#pragma unsafe arrays
void adat_transmit_until_ct_1x(chanend c_data, chanend c_port, int smux)
{
// TODO
}
Is it possible or not? For an example AK5384 4ch A/D uses 256fs TDM (on Tascam US-16x08 example device).

Re: Interfacing both ADC and DAC to startKit to act as a digital processing unit
What if I just set the I2S_CHANS_PER_FRAME to 4 for I2S?

Re: Interfacing both ADC and DAC to startKit to act as a digital processing unit
So what kind of changes would be needed for the I2S library (frame-based slave) to get the 128fs bit clock of PCM4204 supported? There are no 64-bit (wide transfer) ports, so you should add an extra 32-bit read between the frames and just dump the data? Also the bclk clock definition might need some...

Re: Multi Channel Audio Mixer daughter board project
Designing own board is not that easy unless you are very professional and experienced designer (bot HW & SW). Also the largest pitch size is 0.5 mm pitch (in 64-TQFP package, single core XUF208 chips with upto 256kb RAM) which is really difficult to solder by hand. However, regarding the StarKIT...

Could anyone from XMOS tell from where to find this document (that the original URL, maybe it's moved to somewhere):
