DSO reccomendations

In the market for a new digital storage scope for audio work,~$1K. Used is OK too. Curious what you all use and can recommend for audio band + digital (I2S, TDM, I2C, SPI, etc, clocks). This one seems to come up in my searches, but at $350, it's tough to believe it will stand the test of time. On the other hand, it seems to have all the features I'm looking for.

The other option is more of a computer based scope. I had one a long time ago that was pretty awful, but will stay open minded. Thanks!

You can buy a 1054Z and "hack" it to unlock all options and 100MHZ bandwidth. They are generally decent scopes that last much longer than you might expect. Another option would be a Micsig tablet based oscilloscope. The best thing about them is with the battery option you have a truly floating scope which is good for anyone unsure of circuit grounding. I am not sure about their decode and trigger options though as I rarely use one. For PC based the picoscope line of oscilloscopes is a good option with good software and decent hardware.

You might find 1000$ budget to be the limiting factor.

For a deep dive I'd also recommend heading to http://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/ and read some data and reviews. If you have any other questions there are some experienced people who could help.
