Hi, I'm David Betz
Hi, I'm David Betz. I've been working with computers since at least 1965 and recently got interested in microcontrollers. I've built a Fuzebox and various other Arduino-style boards and have written software for the XGameStation XGS PIC, XGS AVR, Chameleon PIC and Chameleon AVR. I recently purchased an XC-1 to start to learn about the XMOS processor. I'm excited about working with a multi-core, multi-threaded processor. I was one of the original employees of VM Labs, a company started in 1995 to design and market a multi-core processor for DVD decoding and game development. The XMOS chip allows me to get back into multi-core programming.

Thanks for the intro! Indeed multicore is most exciting. I remember speaking to some people the other day regarding this and parallelism and their minds went off on a field trip with all the new things they could make! Anyhow, welcome to XCore Exchange and I hope you enjoy your time here!
