XMOS Slice Extender Board (Right Angle)

This project will permit the probing / extending all of the signals present on the PCIe (PCI Express) connector as found on the XMOS boards. An optional target XMOS compatible slice board may be seated into the end of this design for passive debugging of all signals. It is a product which we will use in house for new XMOS developments and was recently requested by  babazaroni.
All source files (Altium) + panel shape + production specifications + BOM have been supplied. For best signal integrity, the PCB is a 4L PCB.
This project is available for sale in fully assembled, kit form or as a bare PCB. We have the TopYang PCIe connectors in our inventory so this component will be used for the assembly of this project. Being a common footprint, equivalent PCIe connectors are also available through Digikey and other suppliers.
The PCIe edge connector used in this project is a RIGHT ANGLE (through hole for best structural strength) type.

The PCB layout for this project was created to support the following very common PCIe x1 right angle connectors (others may be also compatible with this layout):
TopYang (Taipei, Taiwan) 105036-C0B120N (datasheet is enclosed in the post)
Molex 87715-9008   (Digikey P/N 0877159008-ND)

The male pin headers are also very common with a 2.54 mm (0.1") pitch.
Note: The design has been assembled & tested on the StartKit, SliceKit (standard) and the USB SliceKit. Hand soldering of the PCIe connector is recommended. If using reflow or wave soldering tools, be sure to review the PCIe connector materials and temperature ratings to avoid damage to the connectors.

Hi pstnotpd. Thanks for your prompt reply. We are reviewing the assembly of this and the other variation of the board. Hope to have some good news later this month. Will update here once they are available.
