From XTAG-2 Hardware Manual v1.0; Section 4 there is a pinout for the 2 x 10 female socket. Pin 1 has the incorrect direction listed.
It should read as "Host to Target" since the +5 volt rail is sourced from the USB interface and is able to supply power to the mated XMOS target device.
