COMPETITION TIME : Create a Christmas themed xCORE project!

Post by DavidW »

December is finally here and it wont be long until everyone is looking for excuses to avoid visiting in-laws, fighting grannies in John Lewis or tripping over hyperactive chocolate fuelled children in Tescos (other shopping destinations are available).

What better excuse is there than developing a Christmas themed xcore project!

Competition: Create a Christmas themed xCORE project

Competition timeframe: Dec 1st - Dec 19th

The winner will receive an xCORE SliceKIT

The project can use any xcore hardware that you have; startKITs, sliceKITs, older dev boards, whatever you want.

Looking for ideas? Check out this design by Venus Probe Designs from last year:

This isn't a 'idea' competition. We want to see a working project by the competition deadline!

Also, after Christmas we're going to run a 'Project of 2014' competition (community vote) with a big prize. Your Christmas project may just win that as well!

So, just a recap:

Create a Christmas themed xCORE project which you can demonstrate in a video and submit the video to this thread on or before the 19th December.

You can use any XMOS hardware to qualify and the winner will receive a xCORE sliceKIT.

Good luck!
