XCore suited to my problem ?

Post by XRasp »

Hello, my first post here.
I'm using Raspberry Pi3 for fast i/o (at about 2MHz with 16-24 Pins and for long times; results like 200 MSamples are stored in Pi3-RAM; C-Programm with pigpio-Lib). This nearly works correct, but there are some latencies I must avoid.

Will XCore-Card for Pi3 be helpfull within the above mentioned parameters?

Xcores are very good at precise timing, real time processing, parallel io, and deterministic io(amongst other things). If these are you requirements then yes.

Thanks, but could you give some more hints to me as I have no experiences in working with XCores.
What board will be suited, especially when considering the need of storing 200 MSamples?
