Hi John,
when "bin/1i8o2/app_usb_aud_mic_array_1i8o2.xe" is flashed the Audacity is recording 2 channels,
1) Can I guess that we need to interfere somewhere in the firmware's code in order to enable 8 channels and not 2 only?
2) Also tried to flash the other build - "bin/2i8o2/app_usb_aud_mic_array_2i8o2.xe" - in order to use TUSBAudio (Thesycon) with Adobe Audiotion but getting the next error:
Error: F03096 No devices attached - Cannot run the enquirer until a device is found
Any idea what the problem might be please?

Hi,
For 8 channel recording you should go into the audio control panel and enable 8 channels (I assume you are using Windows, which defaults to stereo).
For the UAC2 issue, this could be a driver clash. I would recommend you use nirsoft usbdevview to remove all XMOS instances - vid 20b1 - then reinstall your hardware.
Best regards,
John

Thanks John
We managed to record 8 channels and as the documentation apply it looks like channel 0 is the sum of the rest,
Opened Audacity, under Edit->Preferences changed the Host to Windows WASAPI and then the Recording Channels drop box below it could be changes to 8 channels,
I still need to sort out the flashing issue,

Hi John,
Just wonder please... Did you manage to record 8 channels at 48000Hz with Audacity ever?,
No issues with 44100, but getting an error with Audacity when trying the 48000 as if the driver flashes doesn't support it...?,
Thanks,

Hi John,
Recording 8 channels at 48000Hz with Audacity is working now,
Audacity kept showing the actual rate as 11025,
With the setup chosen under the Control Panel -> Sound -> … Properties -> Advanced Properties … Audacity shows 48000 as the actual rate,
Much appreciate your support and patience in the last 2 days!,
