Sparkfuns web site has been very, very busy the last couple of days. I'm guessing everybody has been putting together their buy lists ready for today, I know I have :)

On my list I've got the Sparkfun Xmos XS1-L1 64 Dev Board, XTAG-2 and about half a dozen break out boards.

I've just tried logging on the Sparkfun site at ~15.00 GMT and it looks like the site is completely overloaded as it comes up "SparkFun Electronics is Temporarily Closed!"

I hope others have had better luck than myself

I tried to add a couple of items to my cart about three hours before it started, and gave up. I've got better things to do with my time than waste it trying to save $100.

I tried again at 17.30 GMT but their web site was still unresponsive so gave up as well, but some people must have gotten onto it as the website now shows that the $100K giveaway took only 1h : 44m : 50s

This whole thing must have appealed to the same kind of math-challenged people who buy lotto tickets.
