From memory I think I use a 0.2mm track width to go in between the balls on the Xmos BGA chips, I tend to use a metric setting on those designs. I generally do not have to go underneath to route the signals out (other than for via spacing/density reasons). This works fine for me with the higher spec DRU from PCB-pool for example.
