I find it totally unacceptable that XMOS doesn't seem to make a proper effort to work out the details for the ethernet stuff, meaning providing working and properly documented software. There seem to be a whole bunch of very knowledgeable people on this forum who have tried and failed to get this working reliably. This is also very demoralizing for people like myself who are trying to use XMOS silicon but cannot be bogged down by solving communication problems (may it be ethernet or uarts/usb). Not everyone wants or can afford to become an ethernet expert.
