XK-AUDIO-216-MC-AB First Use Issues!!!

Hello All,

I just received a new XK-AUDIO-216-MC-AB. I am brand new to this eval board, and to Xtime.

I just wanted to get something up and running on the board, so I downloaded and imported USB Audio 2.0 Device Software.
I selected app_usb_aud_l1 and set it as the current project, then selected build. I have made no changes to any of the files but am getting errors below on the build.

I do not understand any of these errors, or what could have caused them seeing as how I have not made any changes to the files.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for the reply.

I have followed these instructions and am still having the same trouble.

After importing per the instructions, I attempting to clean app_usb-aud-xk-216-mc produces the following error description:

target `/@@@@D@@@@/GoogleDrive/XMOS' given more than once in the same rule.


Attempting a build of the default build config produces the following:

fatal error: 'swlock.h' file not found gpio_access.c /app_usb_aud_xk_216_mc/src/extensions line 2

What is the relevance of the GoogleDrive in your setup?

Do you have a local hard disk or USB key for the output files? Are you attempting to save some files onto an online drive?

The Workspace Folder resides in a GoogleDrive folder on the local hard drive. Is it possible the path is too long?

Wondering the same. Can you just download to a local drive folder?

For example under Windows -> your user account -> Downloads and then extract the downloaded zip file and proceed from there?

Forget the online drive. Do everything local on your hard drive (recommended) or flash drive. I know we did this in the past few weeks for giggles and the compiler was churning for like half an hour but was not raising any errors at all. Give it a try.

I set up a workspace folder in the root (not messing around)....SUCCESS!!!!

I suspect the lengthy path was causing grief.

:) no expert. just pretend to be one. one of these days, will attempt audio projects with xmos. for now, chasing demons on sub $0.50 micros and their many broken toolchains.
