xtimecomposer problem : No java virtul machine found windows

Hi there,

 

I've got a startkit working under my ubuntu computer but not with my professional computer (Win 7 pro 64 bits)

 

When I try to start Xtimecomposer studio by the icon (launching SetEnv.bat before) I got the error message :

"A Java Runtime Environnement (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK)

must be available in order to run Xtimecomposer. No Java virtual machine was found after searching the following locations :

C:\Program Files\XMOS\Community-13.0.1\xtimecomposer_bin/jre\bin\javaw.exe

javaw.exe in your current PATH"

 

I've reinstalled last version of Java and xtimecomposer in the "Program Files" folder and not "Program Files (x86)" as seen in another post,

I've try to search where the java path is specified but I cannot find it...

Does somebody can help me ???? please... :)

You should be using 32 bit version of JRE not the 64 bit version.

Thanks for the tip.

So I've re-installed java 32 bits in the folder "Program Files" and not "Program Files (x86)" but it still doesn't work...

I can't use my startkit with windows...
