Is it possible to sample a port with respect to a 62.5 MHz e

Post by ers35 »

The XS1-L16A-128-QF124 datasheet states:

Port sampling rates of up to 60 MHz with respect to an external clockIs 60 MHz a conservative estimate or a hard limit?

Can XMOS guarantee that all speed grade 10 (XS1-L16A-128-QF124-C10) L16 with a reference clock of 125 MHz and a system clock of 500 MHz can sample a port with respect to a 62.5 MHz external clock?

Hi There,

Thank you very much for your enquiry.

I think achieving 62.5 MHz would be entirely possible but I would recomment that you prototype your system (e.g. on a startKIT) in order to guarantee the performance.

Best regards,

John
