What is the proper way to connect the LCD to the LCD slice

What is the proper way to connect the LCD to the LCD slice

The LCD Demo Quickstart Guide shows a picture of the hardware setup for the LCD Demo. In this photo, Pin 1 of the LCD flex is connected to Pin 40 on the slice connector and Pin 40 on the LCD flex is connected to pin 1 on the slice connector. Is this correct? Is there an error in the labeling?Also, are there any suggestion for how to mate the LCD flex cable to the slice connector. It doesn't seem to slide in very easily. Does the connector open in some way?

I don't have a LCD slice but I try to answer your question.There is a lever (black thingie) on the connector that you have to carefully move (horizontal i guess), then the flex cable should move in fairly easily.
