Flash XMOS Chip FreeDSP-Aurora board

Hello =)

i have a problem flashing a custom (self-soldered) board with a XE216-512-
TQ128-C20 chip.
I followed the instructions in the manual, but I get a error message I cant find a solution for.

Things i have done, which im unsure of:

As a PID and VID for my device i entered random numbers.
I deleted the lines for QE_REGISTER and QE_BIT locations in the xk-audio-216-mc.xn file, as I could not compile the project.

Any help is appreciated =)

I tried to read out the XMOS to see if anything is on there like in thread https://www.xcore.com/viewtopic.php?t=2820

Both of the time the read files are filled with bb values.

It seems that the open sources for XMOS are dated back to about 5 years ago. This means xTimeComposer 14, not modern 15.

not clear if you use XTC 14.3.3 or 14.4.1 or 15.x ?
Before flashing have you just downloaded and run the application to check it works ?
regarding IS25LP080D, it is supported natively by flash version 14.4.1 so no need to specific a spec file.
also you may prefer to use the xflash utility as a command line
