Tools User Guide 11.2 - Translation to French started

Post by octal »

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know that I started THE BIG ONE :ugeek:
the translation of the Tools User Guide 11.2 to French.

This is a big document (about 160 pages). I put on the WIKI, on the Frenchy XCore Group page a table summarising the state of the translation, and the available sections.

There is a link to main document structure, from which, there will be links to corresponding french parts.
Translations will be provided by parts, as the main document has 5 parts (Part-A to E). This page is a reference only, it will be cleaned and I'll keep only french titles on it once the translation is finished.

First translation will be done to cover all the document as soon as possible, this is almost a read-english write French translation done by hand, so there will for sure be some mistakes. Later I'll do a second slow and deep reading to the document to correct it and enchance the french expression in the mean time. Once we got a full document, I'll try to generate the Pretty Formated PDF version for users who prefer to read it on their PDA, eReaders, ...

Main document structure (will be the only way to access all parts once translation finished)

Pretty formatted PDF version of Part-A + Part-B is attached to this post. (couldn't upload it to wiki, keeps complaining :( ). This still need corrections and rework ... I just published it in case people want to have the PDF version on their ebooks readers.
