AD-DA Converter

Hello,

My name is Anton, at the moment I am a student on the engineering course at the Glyndwr University. For my third and the last year I am designing an Analogue-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analogue (AD-DA) Converter.
I will use ES9018k2M and ES9112 chips for data conversion and XMOS-U8A-64 BGA as a microcontroller generating I2C and I2S protocols. I will have digital USB Input\Output, Analogue XLR Input and Analogue RCA Output. It should work with 32 bit \384 kHz audio in stereo mode of operation.

I would like to share my schematics and design files with you (developed in Eagle PCB design software). I hope to hear some feedback and perhaps some suggestions for further improvement to my design.

Thank You

Have a look at U16 SLICEKIT design files and see how that is done. You can find the design files from the following link:

Hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing - looks like a cool project.

Sethu's idea is good one - it's the ideal diode component in particular on the U16 kit which may be of interest..

Ok Thanks
LTC4415 looks perfect
ps. Oh, not really because it is 5v maximum voltage. However I found similar product LTC4353 (or LTC4370) which can support up to 18v. It is also seems to be a good idea to combine current from both power supplies.

You need to import some design rules (a .dru file) from one of the PCB board manufactures and run the rules on your board. I believe that you will find some areas on your board that needs to be adjusted.

I have updated schematics and the PCB layout on the first message.
Bill of Materials is also added.
