Hello,
Some days ago I discovered Xmos and boards for audio solutions usb 2.0. I would like to know if some of silicon used in their boards are pre-programmed for audio applications, XS1-U8A-64-BG96 or XS1-U16A-128, or if user has to program the chip.

The choice is yours. You may wish to craft your own software to suit but the following option is a ready to run solution with XMOS supplied, debugged & pre-programmed (silicon) software:

If you wish to develop your own customized solution then there are many options but best to read up on the respective tools, components and already developed public software on github, etc. There will be a learning curve but may be worth the extra effort if you are developing a commercial product as XMOS is THE go to product line for high end digital audio.
