Hello everyone !
I'm discovering XMOS because I have to make a 5.1 audio file player for a project. I'm searching for informations about possibilities I can have with my hardware.
I just have to do a mass storage and an audio file playing (mono or stereo to begin ^^). I have a SliceKit and a SK-Audio slice card. Do anyone have a little answer to my question ? To begin I just want to know if I have the sufficient hardware to make what I want to do ^^
Thanks !
Play audio file with SliceKit and XA-SK-AUDIO

Hi pierreko,
You don't say which SliceKit you have, however, if you are thinking about USB audio then the best solution is the xCORE-200 multi channel board :
https://www.xmos.com/support/boards?product=18334
And the USB audio firmware which you can download from the same page.
Best regards,
John

Hi pierreko ,
These slicekits are all based around the old XS1 architecture, which is not recommended for new designs.
I would still suggest the xCORE-200 multi channel card.
Best regards,
John

By all means.
If you download the USB audio f/w from the muli-channel page and build app_usb_aud_skc_u16. It will run on the USB slicekit and your audio card.
