XMOS ADC conversion -> Phone WIFI

Hello,

I'm new in XMOS components, I ussually use FPGA and DSP architectures. XMOS seems to propose great features.
Everything is described in the title, I want to make ADC conversion (16 channels but for test only one is enough) then encode the data and send to iphone or android device via WIFI network to listen audio in real time.

Someone can advise wich demo boards and libraries I need to start this test?

BR

José

Hello Jose,

Perhaps the best board to start with is the slicekit (https://www.xmos.com/support/boards?product=15825) with the following additional slices:

https://www.xmos.com/support/boards?product=15833
https://www.xmos.com/support/boards?product=15827

Hopefully these give you all the necessary components to get started. It is possible, though I don't know for certain that those slices may also work with the latest XS2 slicekit (https://www.xmos.com/support/boards?product=19745). I will try and find out for you and let you know soon.

Best Wishes
Colin

Thanks for your reply Colin, the second one have about the same price. Now I need to investigate a little bit more about the posibility to make real time transmission over wifi transmission.

Best regards
