Guidelines for using this wiki

The XCore.com wiki has been redesigned as a dedicated tutorial and knowledge base for teaching and learning the various aspects of XMOS technology. Please read the guidelines and follow them when using this wiki.

When posting new content

To ensure this wiki is used as intended, please follow these steps when creating new content:

  1. Use the search function to make sure your content hasn't already been created by someone else.
  1. If your content hasn't been created, make sure it is relevant to the wiki:
    1. Programming tutorial
      1. XC / C / ASM languages
    2. Boards and Reference Designs
      1. various boards
    3. Silicon
      1. various chips
For example: A tutorial using the XC-1A board can go under the XC-1A page via the Boards and Reference Designs page
(If you are still unsure, ask the site administrator.)
  1. When posting your content, please keep the styling similar to the test of the website (view the source of the main page if you are unsure).
  1. Make sure you link your content appropriately to one of the root pages when you have finished.
  1. Don't forget to mention on the forum that your new content has been added so people can see it.

After posting new content

  • Link your tutorial under "All tutorials" for the appropriate section.
  • Link your tutorial under the board / chip / language it is written for.

  1. To help maintain the site and keep it clean, please help out by correcting any spelling mistakes or formatting you see if it is required.
  1. Please do not dramatically change or modify other people's content.
  1. If you believe your content has been tampered with, please contact the site administrator who can revert the changes and lock the page to prevent further tampering.
