JTAG protocol specification
I'm making my own xmos based board that has a MCU just for XMOS JTAG but for the life of me I cannot find the JTAG protocol specification. Do anyone know where it is? Before you ask, yes I have seen the XTAG code which is confusing as multiple abstraction layers muddles what is actually happening, h...
Re: OpenXC
no. i've looked through all their material and at no point do they use XC or XMOS chips.Folknology wrote:OpenXC from Ford
Interesting name they chose, does that mean Xmos can't use it now when they finally opensource XC?

Re: New dev board: XDev
The 8 thread versions are available? XS1-L8A-64-TQ48-C4 yes... if you buy in multiples of 250 chips but when they go out of stock, that's it. This is looking really good Gravis, I'll make a news post about it to try and get more people interested in the project! i request that you not do that until...

changing stdio target ports
i have my own board and have used all the 1-bit ports so i would like to use a couple free 4 bit ports so that my stdio stuff like printf() and getc() still work. from what i can tell, you can alter the .XN file to use the ports you want but how does that apply to multibit ports? does output (e.g. p...

New dev board: XDev
I've made a XS1-L1 based dev board called XDev and I started it as a Kickstarter project.
Check it out and see if it's something you like. Suggestions are welcome.

Parallella on Kickstarter
it's not xmos but i thought it would be interesting to see just what this chip can deliver. it's got 32KB per core (which can be pooled at a penalty) and 700MHz cores. if nothing else, it will be an interesting chip to experiment with. there is only a day left to support it and they are short on fun...

Re: New look XMOS
My real question is: what was wrong with the old site? I understand if you want to redo the color scheme and maybe reorganize a little but to completely redo everything into a very developer unfriendly site is just... bad. At this rate, someone is going to make a secondary site. I would be OK with t...

Re: New look XMOS
from: http://www.xcore.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1925 I have got to say, I am loving the new XMOS.com website that has appeared today. Very sexy - the new colour palette is much cleaner on the eye, and the introduction video is BEAUTIFUL! I was hoping for a video like this a few years ago, ...
