Join Ed Clarke as he discusses the XMOS IPod Dock Reference design that is based around our L1 processor.

XMOS allows you to reduce your time to market when making such products - this whole reference design for example was created in less than 3 months.

Many companies typically have to design their own chip to accomplish the same set of capabilities, but by utilising a reusable and reprogrammable XMOS chip, along with our growing collection of software libraries, there is no need for this - and you can implement ideas faster. You can even remotely update the firmware after the product is shipped. This in turn is updating the hardware as well. This is just one benefit of the XMOS solution.

Ed, goes on to discuss why XMOS is suitable for such an application and some of the key features of the reference design.
