Or 3 - disable the Mixer in the XMOS firmware..feniksa wrote: And other stuff. Only 2 solution:
1. Ignore USB audio 2.0 specification and write your own Linux driver + modification for XMOS firmware
2. Finish implementation of usb audio 2.0 specification for linux driver
I moved in 2 way, but i haven't enough time to finish this work.
USB Audio 2.0 MC Reference Design and Linux (Ubuntu)
Hi guys,
is there any progress on this issue?
I tested with Ubuntu 12 and 14, but the device is only recognized as analogue input - no outputs detected.
With Windows and Thesycon driver everthing works fine.
Built the firmware with MIXER disabled.
Thanks,
Fabian

My understanding is that the driver is not complete, it doesn't have all the units implemented from the USB Audio spec, however, if you disable MIXER (or at least set MAX_MIX_COUNT to 0) I believe it operates.
Can you elaborate on this please? I'm not aware of any issues?feniksa wrote: 2. Some problem with mixer names.
