Target board not conected

Hi!

I've just got XR-USB-AUDIO-2.0 kit. I've connected the board and it works as expected (plays audio).
Then I've tried to run something on it (xrun) and I've connected XMOS JTAG-2 into the USB socket and the board on the programmer. When I do this there is no LED turned on on the board.
Also when I do:

xrun -l

I get:

Available XMOS Devices
----------------------

ID Name Adapter ID Devices
-- ---- ---------- -------
0 XMOS XTAG-2 Oh_MBJuM None

What I am doing wrong? Does the board needs to be connected to the USB too?

IDE 11.11.1 on Mac OS X.
IDE 11.11.1 on Linux (Debian Wheezy) does not detect XTAG-2 at all (the xrun tool does not, dmesg shows it nicely).

Thanks.

Schematic shows that the board is not powered by the JTAG-2. Funny!
When I connected both to the USB (one from the other computer) I could run and flash other firmware.
