Re: new xcore.ai - more details?

Indeed! With the 2.0 Explorer Kit they seem to have removed the small Xtag header that used to be under the XU316 micro (I think that version only had an extremely limited release). Instead it looks like there's essentially an Xtag built into the board accessible through the DEBUG micro-USB port. No...

Re: JTAG v14->v15 no longer works on v14

This is probably due to a change in the XTAG driver which annoyingly breaks compatibility between v14 and v15 of the tools.

You should be able to get v14 tools to see the XTAG again by uninstalling the driver and reinstalling the older version.

More info here.

Re: Removing an already existing project using XTC

Try to search the entire workspace for "module_xud". Menu -> Search -> Search. Scope: Workspace

Try to do a 'clean'. Menu -> Project -> Clean.

Re: Universal "XPort" header for XS2 development board

Good looking layout. I would think about adding connections for system reset and maybe buffered output from the main oscillator feeding the MCU. The reset would be important for starting certain peripherals in a known state. For reference you could check out header designs from the older SliceKit de...

Re: new xcore.ai - more details?

I just noticed that datasheets for the new XU316 xmos.ai parts are actually up now for anyone to see.

https://www.xmos.ai/xcore-ai/

Also, the availability for some parts showed as "November 2021" briefly about a month ago, but now all show as "Contact XMOS".

Re: installing XTC Tools 15.0.6 breaks 14 tools?

Or I guess instead of reinstalling XTC 14, you could just point Windows to
C:\Program Files (x86)\XMOS\xTIMEcomposer\Community_14.4.1\drivers
when it asks to install the XTAG driver.

Re: How to erase/reset xCORE-200 (XE216-512-TQ128)

Just as a sanity check, are you sure your binary file *project*.xe is actually being built? Check the date modified on that file.

Is this a board you designed yourself?
