Re: Problem Trying To Access Examples, from within xTIMEcomposer

Removed cache and installation, resinstalled everything. Initially all seems good, I can click for example "Microphone array", some windows shows, descriptions, "Microphone array library" etc. But within all this, there is some "download failed". Switching offline/onlin...

Re: Problem Trying To Access Examples, from within xTIMEcomposer

Not so. As I said, the welcome screen was blank until that modification on the server from the last week. Now the screen works, but otherwise there is still "connection failed".

Re: Problem Trying To Access Examples, from within xTIMEcomposer

Hi, I cleared completely the directories XMOS and .xmos, reinstalled, then tried clear cache, then tried no certificate. As I said, there is a difference, but the crucial parts still do not work.

Re: Problem Trying To Access Examples, from within xTIMEcomposer

Hi, now it works partially, but still not fully. There is more content, I can update my account, view the forum, but "connection to www.xmos.com failed" is still there and the examples still can not be downloaded.

Re: Cam Xcore read pixels at 26.6 MHz 10 bits parallel

Thanks mon2. But why not make xcore generate the 25MHz clock for the camera chip? Because it would waste processor resources for a simple task?

Re: Cam Xcore read pixels at 26.6 MHz 10 bits parallel

The clock of the chip can be set within the range 13.0 to 27.0 MHz. Is it possible that Xcore produces a master clock 100.0*8/30 = 26.66 MHz for the chip? It would allow an asynchronous reading of the pixels, as clock out is simply the master clock inverted. The question is, can xcore integrate 10, ...

Cam Xcore read pixels at 26.6 MHz 10 bits parallel

Hello, there is a camera chip MT9V022 which outputs pixels at 26.6 MHz, single pixel data is 10 bit parallel. Start of a line readout can be triggered externally. Would bigbanging with Xcore 200 be fast enough to support chips like that?

Re: Blue Pill for XMOS?

That was probably not programmable so I deleted the post so not to confuse you... but when I browse datasheets of chips like XU208-256-QF48, a hot air soldering and the minimal circuits for making it run do not look complicated. The docs also look quite helpful. And the chip is around $10, has a USB...

Re: Problem Trying To Access Examples, from within xTIMEcomposer

Now I'm not sure why a fresh Linux install solves uth's problem (temporarily). It is not a fresh Linux install, but a fresh install of xTIMEcomposer. That said, it is run-of-the-mill Linux with, I suppose, a run-of-the-mill internet connection. After the fresh install, there is "connected"...
