EEWeb blog

Post by davelacey »

Hi,
Since there is talk of various articles around on the web I thought I should mention this:

http://www.eeweb.com/blog/dave_lacey

Should be doing about one a month covering embedded programming etc. - some will be quite XMOS specific and some less so. Any suggestions for a topic welcomed.

Dave

Why not an article talking about the advantages and disadvantages of uProcesors and FPGA's?
Develop Time, Speeds, acuracy, timing etc...
so maybe then an article might also be Xmos.
in this case you might cover 3 articles
ProVsCon FPGA's
ProVsCon uProcesors(normal architecture)
ProVsCon Xmos.

I must say that xmos has some pros and cons of both worlds. so the reader should be able to evaluate its own idea of it.

We have a comparison white paper on xmos.com covering exactly that:
