It is kinda foolish for a fabless semiconductor start-up to go in the memory business with standard products.
Margins for the big boys like Samsung, Hynix, Elpida, Numonix etc are already pretty low (especially on the DRAM market).
About names: There is also an x86 based processor (some 186 derivative) called Xcore86:
