1-wire toolkit

Post by russf »

Version: 0.01
Status: Under development
License: Custom Licence

Create a rich implementation of 1-wire (Maxim / DalSemi) tools for driving environmental sensors.
The initial code is based on the very promising Public Domain implementation from Maxim, which now builds under XDE.
The next step is to be able to enumerate devices on the bus, at which point I will publish the first code.
I'm very interested to have feedback from others with interest in 1-wire on XMOS.

Hello Russ!

Firstly, congratulations on creating the first project on XCore Exchange.

I am sure you will get some great feedback from the community as you develop it here.

If you have any further questions when it comes to implementation do feel free to post away in the forum.

Hope to see some screen shots or such later!

How do you become a contributor to a project?

You need to ask the project creator to list you as one.

The 1-Wire XMOS project is an important contribution. I am architecting an open source robotics technology development platform and I believe that Russ' development could be ideal for my purposes. I would definitely like to participate in the success of this project - at least as a customer and a promoter of his project.

I have an early version working, with some light testing.
At the moment, I'm working on packaging for release.
