stand-alone xflash utility

than you for the answer, but..

The xflash utility is used to program factory and upgrade images to flash. If there is no more flash space available then xflash will not write any more upgrade images.
My question was about DFU, not about xflash!
I wrote above:

Upgrade is making not with XFLASH utility, so it is Booloader, which can fail, but I cannot imagine that the developers of the Bootloader makes this upgrade possible few times only.

For example - I'm plaing with Audio Reference Design. There is DFU inside.
Question - is the number of ugrades is limited by the eeprom size, or if the memory ends, it will roll and write the next upgrade image instead of the first one (i.e. - after the factory image)?
So, if it can do this automatically, or I need previously to revert to the factory-installed state (dfucons revertfactory) and only after to make upgrade?
