I have read various documentations/notes from infiniteimprobability about: Native DSD outputs raw 32b words out. May this relates ONLY to the XMOS part. I guess.

Now reading the Steinberg SDK ASIO Spec:

3. Sony DSD formats

See Appendix F for further explanations.
ASIOSTDSDInt8LSB1 DSD 1 bit data, 8 samples per byte. First sample in Least significant bit.
ASIOSTDSDInt8MSB1 DSD 1 bit data, 8 samples per byte. First sample in Most significant bit.
ASIOSTDSDInt8NER8 DSD 8 bit data, 1 sample per byte. No Endianness required.

Puzzles me...

The beef question is now, How to use the Thesycon ASIO DSD Native interface to deal with native DSD. Downloaded the Audio driver Thesycon evaluation kit and no word about the ASIO DSD Native.

Any help in this regard would be nice!

BTW: DSD DoP operation with ASIO/WASAPI is very clear to me :D
