XC-3 Connectors

Post by rubenc »

Good day.

On a development I am doing with the XC-3 I ran out of pins from the GPIO located on the left bottom part of the board (P15), and I would like to use the ones on the LED connector, Where "LED Module IN" and "LED Module Out" (P13 and P14 respectively).

My question is if someone knows the part name/number of the matching connector?
maybe with a flat cable? is there a place where I can buy it?
Maybe somenone has allready the Digi-K partnumber of some of this components?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou.

For PCB you can mate it with B13-2x8-BG1-G which can be found here:
http://www.toby.co.uk/content/catalogue ... XxXX-BG1-G

(Got a breakout board on my bench with some of those fitted).

There is also this stuff:

The A05-08-BSA1-G IDC connector might work - but you will need to check it fits inside the box header and that the polarising bump isn't going to get in the way of anything.

Hope this helps

I think I might go with the breakout board option Though.
:-)

May I Ask what are you using it for? Just to know kinds of projects being done by people with XCores

The breakout board is something that we designed - generally speaking it means we can connect SPI type peripherals to the XC-3s and arrange them in a chain over a fairly long distances.
