Having problems with the XTAG2 I received recently. Typically goes for maybe a couple debug steps then fails. IDE shows no device, or XDBG crashes. Tried 4 different cables, all different manufacturer, some work a little longer than others. At least one is rated as USB 2.0 "compliant". Haven't had any other issues with USB on this computer, and drives the USB Audio board just fine. Seems like a USB B connector on the XTAG2 would be much easier to work with (I have lots of those cables) and is more reliable in my experience. Not typical you could ever use it plugged directly in a USB port, anyways.
Any suggestions? Bad XTAG2? Special cable?
