Porting XS1-U8A-64 design to XUF208-128-TQ64

Hello,
I have an audio design on XS1-U8A-64, based on a reference design 6.5.0 (app_usb_aud_skc_su1), with custom code (dsp control, audio development etc) added.
It's working fine.
Now I need to port this design to XUF208-128-TQ64 (replacing I2S in/outs to TDM along the way) in order to simplify board layout.
I tried to look for any recommendations for porting procedure, and couldn't find any, except for particular problems people had.
Could anyone please recommend a procedure for a design porting?
Also the current design is based on reference design 6.5.0. Do I need to first convert it to 6.15.2 (current one, I believe)?
Will appreciate any help.
